  • API Update: New Parameter for Import and Export Stories API

    Important Date: February 10th, 2025

    The version=2 parameter for the Import and Export Stories API is now available, offering improved handling of translations. This new version flattens text values in richtext and table fields, simplifying translation workflows by eliminating the need for additional processing. Upcoming Change:
    On February 10th, the Import & Export Translatable Fields apps will begin using the version=2 parameter by default. This may affect existing workflows if your integration is not updated to accommodate the new JSON structure.

    Key Details:

    • Improved JSON Structure: The new structure flattens text values in richtext and table fields for easier translation.
    • Backward Compatibility: The version=1 parameter remains supported, but the Import & Export Translatable Fields app will exclusively use version=2 starting February 10th.
    • Action Required: Ensure that your workflows are compatible with the version=2 JSON structure to prevent issues with imports and exports. Specifically, the JSON file used for import must have been exported with version=2.
